Summer Morrison, SLP

Summer Morrison, CCC-SLP received her B.S.Ed in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University if Georgia in 2005. She continued her education at Valdosta State University and received her M.Ed. in Communication Disorders with a focus in Speech-Language Pathology in 2007. She attained her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and her Georgia State License. She has been working in the field of early intervention for 10 years, working on and off part time with Atlanta Children’s Therapy. She came on full time with them in January 2019.  Summer worked with Fulton County schools for two years prior to starting EI. She is experienced in working with children with Down Syndrome and other chromosomal disorders, Autism, apraxia of speech, , articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders, feeding disorders, vision and hearing impaired and a host of others. She is trained in PROMPT, PECs, and the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding. Summer lives in Canton with her husband, two children, and dog. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, being outside and reading.
