Carleen Hinesley, MS, OTR/L
Carleen received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015 from Brenau University. Her undergraduate degree is in Special Education from Georgia Southern University and she taught interrelated special education classes for 4 years at the elementary school level. Her passion for working with children began well over 20 years ago and she has worked with kids in some capacity since then. As a pediatric Occupational Therapist of 7 years, she has worked in both the clinic and school settings with children from birth to 17 years old. Carleen has experience with children with sensory processing disorders, autism, ADD/ADHD, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, spinal cord injuries and developmental delays. She strives to help children build skills needed to become independent across all settings.
In her spare time, Carleen enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, reading, baking, enjoying city life and leading her local parent’s network.
