Alexa Hunsinger, MHS, OTR/L CPAM
lexa attended Georgia College and State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Minor in Dance in 2016. In 2018, she graduated from Augusta University with a Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy. Alexa has extensive clinical experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, sensory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, spina bifida, and genetic disorders. Her passion is feeding therapy and equipping children and families with the skills needed to safely enjoy mealtimes together. Alexa is Physical Agent Modalities certified and is trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding. She has a VitalStim/DINES specialty certificate and completed Beckman Oral Motor training. Alexa lives in Flowery Branch with her dog, Charlie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside, and cheering on the Braves.
