Alex Bates, PT, DPT
Alex Bates has been a practicing physical therapist since 2019, after earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Brenau University. Alex completed undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers).
With a diverse background that includes pediatric home health, clinical practice, and work at an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) center in the Atlanta area, Alex brings a well-rounded approach to patient care. During a clinical rotation, Alex also had the opportunity to gain hands-on pediatric experience by working alongside physical therapists in the North Fulton County school systems.
Alex has experience treating infants with delayed milestones, torticollis, and a wide range of diagnoses, including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and other neurological disorders. Working in pediatric physical therapy is a true passion, providing daily joy through building meaningful relationships with children, their families, and colleagues.
Alex lives near The Battery in Atlanta with her fiancé and a cat named Kane, and enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and concerts, and discovering new restaurants around the city.
