Lauren Godfrey, CCC-SLP
Lauren Godfrey is a certified speech-language pathologist with a passion for relationship-based therapy, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is an Atlanta native, receiving her BA in Creative Writing from Agnes Scott College in 2016. While waiting for her writing career to take off, Lauren took a position as an assistant teacher at a small school for students with various learning and communication needs. She loved her time there so much that she decided to change careers, setting her sights on speech-language pathology. Lauren went on to receive her MA in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland in 2022 and has experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. In her free time, you can find Lauren baking a new recipe, crocheting another blanket, attempting home improvement projects with her partner, or playing tug with their dog, Marsha.
